More About Us…
We are raising funds to go on a eco trip to South Africa for 2 weeks in the summer of 2009. This trip will generate jobs and incomes for the local villagers in the area as well as contribute to scientific studies on the Hluhlewe national park.
The research we are doing will involve us looking at how the small mammals and large mammals interact with each other as the big 5 depend on the smaller mammals to survive; however the smaller mammals are under threat due from farming methods outside the park.
We will be helping in conservation projects managing the game reserve. Such activities include: early morning fence checks & repairs, anti-poaching patrols, alien vegetation removal, and spot counts of game in selected areas.
Your contribution towards our trip will be greatly appreciated.
